Our Mission
Buying an enthusiast car — a vintage BMW, a classic Porsche, a rare collector vehicle — is one of the highest-stakes purchases a car lover makes. A proper pre-purchase inspection by an independent provider can be a useful input before committing to a purchase.
The problem: finding the right inspector has always been hit-or-miss. Generic search results surface dealership service centers and national chains — not the independent specialists who actually know these cars. Forum threads go stale. Referrals don't travel well.
PPIFinder exists to make that research easier. We maintain a searchable directory of independent mechanics and PPI providers who focus on enthusiast vehicles. Listings are informational starting points, not endorsements or certifications. Buyers should confirm current services, pricing, availability, report format, credentials, insurance, and independence directly before booking.
How We Maintain the Directory
PPIFinder is operated by Brady Commerce LLC as a digital media property. We organize publicly available and provider-submitted business information into buyer-oriented pages, then add editorial context around inspection scope, report format, travel radius, pricing ranges, and vehicle focus.
We avoid unsupported ratings, invented reviews, and guarantee language. If a listing includes credentials, memberships, or certifications, those are reported directory fields that users should verify directly with the provider. See our methodology and correction standards for more detail.
